BMK’s body returned home, burial to take place on Sunday

The body of city businessman Dr. Bulaimu Muwanga Kibirige -BMK has been returned from Nairobi Kenya where he died on the morning of Friday 10th August 2021.

The body was received by family, friends and leaders of the islamic faith in Uganda includin former Supreme Mufti Sheik Kasule Ndirangwa, Hajji Mansoor Matovu among others at Entebbe International Airport.

Funeral Prayers will be held at 8:00am on Sunday at Masjid Musa at Hotel Africana. Dr. Kibirige will be laid to rest at 2:00pm on Sunday at Nkoowe Muslim Cemetary in Wakiso District as per the official program released by the burial committee.

According to Hajji Mansoor Matovu, the burial was pushed to Sunday to permit family members living abroad and those that were in Kenya to attend to the deceased return home for the burial. Matovu said that Sunday became the ideal day for burial owing to anti-covid19 restrictions that require family members to test for the virus.
