Under the stewardship of new gaffer Simeone Masaba, BUL FC has had a poor run which he believes should come to an end.

Masaba believes that the best chance to achieve this is during an encounter as they visit Police FC in the Uganda Cup at Kavumba.

“We have had a tough run in the previous games but the boys are ready to rectify the earlier mistakes,” he said.

“This is a knockout competition. It’s not about the form you have. We only need to give out best in 90 minutes so that we give our best and go to the next stage,” he added.

“Our scoring has been poor but we shall insist on doing the right things so that we are capable of getting goals and results as well.”

BUL come into the encounter after losing 2-1 to 10-man Express FC in the Uganda Premier League.

The loss took the tally to seven games without a win. A run that has gotten BUL fans complaining and losing patience.

“Police is a big team and experienced. Their being in the Big League doesn’t matter, they are a good team and are capable of doing anything.”

“So it leaves us with no chance but rather only winning. We shall do all it takes to see that we bag the win,” he concluded.

The oil manufacturers are the defending champions and are still on the chase to defend the historical cup.
