‘We have got to be focused against Gaddafi’ – Mazengo

KCCA FC midfielder Stefano Loro Mazengo has called for focus ahead of their game against Gaddafi FC.

The Kasasiro Boys visit Gaddafi FC at Gaddafi Arena, Jinja in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League on Saturday May 14th.

“We face a side that is fighting relegation and we have got to be focused. It will definitely be a tough game because we are away and they are fighting for survival and we should not under estimate them,” Mazengo said before adding.

“As I said before, I am comfortable playing as a center back especially when we play three at the back. I have more time and space and can face where I am going.”

“I can pick the passes well and I think that is why the coach wants me to play,” he added.

Mazengo who will be hoping to start his second league game this term against relegation fighting side Gaddafi FC, says that it’s not always easy to train and you don’t feature on matchday squad.

“It is not easy when you train every day and you are not featuring on the team but you have got to show up every day and stay professional.”

“Coach always told me to keep positive and train hard and wait for my chance and I am happy that I am playing now.”

“What is most important is to win as a team and make our fans happy. We want to give it our best and that is what we will try to do.”

KCCA FC are second on the Uganda Premier League table with 56 points while Gaddafi FC are 10th on the log, three positions above the relegation zone and with three points ahead of 14th placed Police FC.

Gaddafi FC were 7-0 winners against Tooro United FC at home in their previous league fixture.

KCCA FC on the other hand were 2-1 winners against Busoga United FC at home in the previous league fixture.
