The 2024 edition of the MTN Busoga Masaza Cup will be launched on Saturday, 29th June in Jinja.

This was revealed by the sports ministry of Busoga kingdom on Wednesday 26th during an engagement with the chairmen and chief executive officers of the Busoga Masaza football teams in preparation for the upcoming MTN Busoga MasazaCup.

The meeting was held at the Kingdom’s headquarters to engage in a collaborative and open discussion, charting a path towards a successful tournament, as well as conducting the draw for this year’s groupings.

Owe’kitiibwa Nkono Amin Bbosa, the Busoga Kingdom sports minister, unveiled the anticipated date for the official launch.

“We are looking forward to the launch of this year’s edition of the MTN Busoga Masaza Cup on Saturday, 29th June. Further information regarding this exciting event will be provided through our official communication channels,” he said.

During the draw, last year’s semi-finalists; Busiki, Butembe, Kigulu, and Bugabula were seeded, and the remaining teams were randomly allocated into the available groups.
