Police Saturday confirmed six people were killed in a fatal accident in Bukomansimbi District along the Masaka-Kampala Road.
A Fuso Fighter truck registration number UAS 226 U carrying market vendors overturned killing six and several others sustaining injuries.
Traffic and Road Safety Police spokesperson, ASP Faridah Nampiima said the incident was clerked in at around 1 p.m. on Saturday 14th May 2022.
The injured have been rushed to surrounding hospitals while the dead bodies have been conveyed to Masaka Hospital pending postmortem.
According to police, investigations are underway to establish the cause of the accident and the number of victims.
