First-time comers, St. Andrew Kaggwa Gombe High School registered a golden 2-0 victory against nine-man Buddo SS at Barifa Stadium.
While in the opening game, Kitende beat arch rivals Kibuli SS 3-1 in a game that witnessed a clear officiating error.
The two sides where meeting for the 10th time among which Kitende has won eight times while Kibuli has picked two victories.
Dominic Ayella capitalised on Kitende custodian, Jack Komakech’s howler to place Kibuli SS ahead.
Kibuli’s victory lasted for a short while after Kitende were awarded a clear dubious penalty after Charles Lwanga fell in he area.
Defender, Rogers Torach stepped up to tak the challenge an calmly converted from the spot to level matters.

In the 66th minute, the ball clipped off Buddo defender Agaku Vincent’s hand and the referee awarded St. Andrew Kaggwa a penalty.
Oscar “Senke” Mawa did no mistake from the spot as he calmly placed the ball home to shake the net.
At the death of the game, Mawa scored a belter that kissed the crossbar and entered the goal to send the crowds on their feet.
Moments later, Buddo SS captain Ronald “Media” Innocent was sent off after confronting the referee.
There were ugly scenes after as the players of Buddo where rioting. It needed the Police and other armed forces to clear the pitch.
