SUPL: Leku Stars As Arua Hill Return To Winning Ways

Alfred Leku scored two goals as Arua Hill returned to winning ways with victory against Busoga United on Tuesday evening at Barifa Stadium.

In the fourth minute, Musisi picked up a good pass from Leku and his cross was deflected for a corner that was well defended.

Arua Hill was at it again in the 25th minute of the game when Wahab delivered a good free kick that found Leku in the box but there was a collision with the Busoga keeper.

In the 38th minute, Maduka went into the box and prefered to pass the ball to Kabuye but Bithum picked it away.

In the 61st minute, Maduka raced all the way to get a shot away around Busoga box but the power directed the ball wide.

Arua Hill finally found the back of the net in the 69th minute when Leku placed the ball at the low bottom of the net to make it 1-0.

Leku was at it again in the 76th minute when he got a long pass from Wahab but he fired a shot wide.

He eventually doubled Arua Hill’s lead in the added minutes of the 90 minutes with a rebound from the goalkeeper.

The win left Arua Hill fifth on the table with 43 points while Busoga United is 12th with 26 points.

Elsewhere, UPDF FC WON 1-0 against Tooro United courtesy of Ivan Ahimbisibwe’s 55th minute strike.

With this loss, Tooro United have been relegated to Fufa Big League.
