Vipers’ head coach Roberto Oliviera and striker Ceaser Manzoki have been picked to be the best coach and player of December respectively at Kati Kati Restaurant on Thursday.
To emerge at the Pilsner Uganda Premier League Awards for the month of December, Manzoki scored five goals and also bagged three assists.
While Oliviera guided his charges to four wins against UPDF, Bright Stars, Tooro United, Busoga after sharing spoils against KCCA in December.
In the competition for the player of the month, Manzoki shared a stage with Juma Balinya who scored five in a row for Police FC as well as BUL FC’s forward Ibrahim Nsimbe.
But the Congolese striker won the tight challenge going home with a plaque of UGX 1 million.
Meanwhile, Oliviera won the gaffer’s accolade beating competition from Express’ Wasswa Bbossa and BUL’s Alex Isabirye.
Bbosa and Isabirye’s charges managed only three wins among the five games played in the recent month.
