Know your Star: Bizo Greatest fusing dancehall with Afrobeat

Bizo Greatest,29, born James Kirangwa in Rubaga, a Kampala suburb to businessman Cosmas Bwanika and school teacher Annet Bwanika in 1992. He is the third born of six children (3girls, 3 boys).

Thanks to his parents, Bizo was given the freedom to experiment with sports, music, dance and drama. “I fell in love with music at a tender age, my mother is part of the choir at Christ the King. She inspired me a lot,” Bizo said

Bizo who is affiliated to Folyfe Music and Mc Esco’s G Power Concepts has so far outed 3 videos namely greatest, gyal wankuba and his latest africana.

“I do mainly dancehall music fused with zouk and afrobeat to give it that African feel,” Bizo told Gateway News. “I love to see people dancing and have a good time, if they are dancing to my music then its a bonus, I am a good vibes person.” he added

He has received good reception since the release of his new song, africana. The song has enjoyed enormous airplay and rankings across major countdowns in the land.

Bizo, attended Kabojja Primary School, City Parents and Hormisdallen for his primary education, Uganda Martyrs Secondary Rubaga, Light College Bulenga and St. Marks College Namagoma for his Secondary School.
