The Champions held Kampala Queens to a goalless draw giving them a golden a point which ensured they are the champions of the FUFA Women Super League at Mubs Ground on Friday.

The two sides came into the came levelled at 38 points however the hosts had a goal more than Kampala Queens meaning a stalemate was enough to give She Corporates the trophy.

Resty Nanziri met a long ball from Margret Kunihira but miscalculated the good delivery and She Corporates custodian Daphine Nyayenga calmly collected the ball.

The hosts later increased the tempo of the game through Favour Nambatya but Patricia Akiror stood tall to keep the result intact.

Kampala Queens goalkeeper Prima Mugidde made a howler after Aminah Nakato’s cross went through his palms but the ball missed the target.

She Corporates’ defence nearly slept on duty after allowing Kunihira’s cross to bounce into the area but Zainah Nandede nodded wide.

After the interval, the visitors came back rejuvenated and constantly kept She Corporates on their back foot.

Resty Musubika miscleared the ball allowing it to meet Nanziri who released Nandede on the right but she lost possession hence giving away a clear cut chance.

Nandede nodded the ball past Nyayenga but the assistant referee noticed an infringement on the goalkeeper and the goal was cancelled.

At fulltime, none of the sides found the back of the net ensuring She Corporates are the champions of 2021/22 campaign.
