The Aviation police have opened investigations into the suspected suicide of Police Constable Nyeko Bosco Mwaka attached to Aviation Police.
Nyeko’s body was discovered on Monday morning with a bullet wound that went through the chin to the head inside the police barracks in Entebbe.
According to Kampala Metropolitan Police Spokesperson, Luke Owoyesigyire, the incident is believed to have taken place at night at an unknown time.
“One bullet cartridge, and a note addressed to the deceased’smother have been recovered. They have been submitted for analysis to our Forensics Directorate.” Owoyesigyire said
The body has been taken to city mortuary at Mulago Hospital to conduct a proper autopsy.
