Uganda Youth Soccer Academy (UYSA) director, Ivan Kakembo was at the American Express Community Stadium as Brighton and Hove Albion FC lost to Aston Villa in the English Premier League.
Kakembo was in the company of youngster Claus Kagimu, and the pair were treated to a VIP treatment and access tour of the stadium.
The ingenious football administrator met with Brighton’s Chief Executive Officer(CEO) Paul Barber who also doubles as the Club’s Deputy Chairman.
The former SC Villa boss revealed to Gateway News that their is a possibility of a partnership between UYSA and the premier league outfit.
Kakembo also met Maheta Molango who is the CEO of the Professional Footballers’ Association for England and Wales at the game.
Kakembo is currently residing in the United Kingdom where he’s attending the inaugural FIFA Diploma in Club management. He’s set to graduate this May.
The Football aadministrator will always be remembered for his reign at Uganda Premier League sides SC Villa, URA FC and Nyamityobora FC.
