Ugandan forward Kizza to stay at New England Revolution

Ugandan forward Edward Kizza has extended his contract at Major League Soccer (MLS) outfit New England Revolution for the 2022 season.

The 23-year-old forward was able to pick a total of 259 minutes across this term.

Kizza joins a list of other 5 players whose contracts have been extended ahead of the 2022 MLS playoffs.

The 5 players are Jon Bell, DeJuan Jones, Henry Kessler, Maciel and Justin Rennicks.The Revolution did not exercise the contract option of defender Collin Verfurth.

Kizza was drafted by the MLS side this year after his exploits at Pittsburgh Panthers in College football.

He placed a record 15 goals in 2018, becoming the first-ever Panthers player to reach the feat.
