Uganda Cranes: Youngman Earns Maiden National Call As Micho Names 35 For Navruz Cup

Bright Stars’ midfielder Marvin Youngman has earned his maiden call on the National team among the 35-man provisional squad called by head coach Milutin “Micho” Sredejovic.

Uganda Cranes will be part of the Navruz Cup that will be held in Namangan City between March 25 to 26.

The mini-tournament will have four countries such as Uganda Cranes, Tajikistan, Kyrgyz Republic and the hosting nation Uzbekistan.

Among the surprise, calls are captain Emmanuel Okwi, Farouk Miya and Allan Kyambadde who had spent some time without donning the national colours.

The team will also be boosted by youngsters such as Steven Sserwadda, Derrick Kakooza, Najib Yiga, Bobosi Byaruhanga and custodian Jack Komakech.
