SUPL: Odoch happy with Express’ return to winning ways

Express FC interim coach James is a happy man following his side’s return to the winning ways in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League.

The Red Eagles picked up maximum points at home against BUL FC following their 2-1 win on Saturday evening at Betway Muteesa II stadium in Wankulukuku.

A George Kasonko own goal and Martin Kizza’s clinical finish in the first half sealed victory for James Odoch’s team.

“I am happy we’ve won today, we had lost our previous two games. You know it’s difficult to bounce back from those defeats so this is good.”

“We’ve managed to score twice, we created more but it’s good we won, we are now planning for our next home game against UPDF FC, we want to win it too because our target remains a top four finish,” Odoch said.

The win left Express FC sixth with 45 points bon the StarTimes Uganda Premier League table.

Express’ next fixture will be against UPDF FC on Saturday May 14th at Betway Muteesa II Stadium.
