KCCA FC will be targeting maximum points when they host relegation bound Busoga United FC at MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League on Saturday May 7th.
The Lugogo based side is second on the Uganda Premier League table with 53 points while Busoga United are 13th on the log just a position above the relegation zone and with 4 points ahead of 14th placed Police FC.
Busoga United were 2-1 winners against Wakiso Giants FC at home in their previous league fixture.
KCCA FC on the other hand were 1-0 winners against Bright Stars FC at home in the previous league fixture.
“We do need to win this game so much. We want to get three points in the game and we will come all out against Busoga United. We are home and we want to make our fans happy,” KCCA FC head coach Morley Byekwaso said before adding.
“We will not have Obenchan and Achai who also missed the previous game due to injury. However, we have Aheebwa back and he will make the match day squad against Busoga United FC.”
“I am impressed with the performance of the youngsters Ayella, Mwanje and Juma and I will give them an opportunity against Busoga United,” he added.
In the last 10 games against Busoga United FC, KCCA FC has won 8 times, both teams sharing spoils twice.
Busoga United have never won a game against KCCA FC.
KCCA FC were 1-0 winners against Busoga United away in the reverse fixture early this season. The match was at FUFA Technical Center, Njeru.
Brian Aheebwa is back in the squad after missing the previous 3 league games due to a knee injury.
