KCCA FC head coach Morley Byekwaso claims that his side still stands a chance to emerge the 2021/2022 StarTimes Uganda Premier League winners.
According to Byekwaso, KCCA FC who are second on the table with seven points behind leaders Vipers SC are still in touching distance with eight games to go.
“We still have a chance to win the league as it is a marathon,” Byekwaso said after KCCA FC’s 3-0 win against UPDF FC.
“We are still in touching distance with eight games to go. All we have to do is finding consistency of winning of winning games so that we can reduce the gap between us and Vipers,” he added.
The Kasasiro Boys picked three points against UPDF FC at Bombo Military Barracks Grounds on Tuesday to halt their three game winless streak.
They are now on 45 points after 22 games played so far behind log leaders Vipers who are on 52 points.
KCCA’s next assignment will be a home game against Arua Hill on Monday April 11th at MTN Omondi Stadium in Lugogo.
