SUPL: Byekwaso calls for confidence ahead of Arua Hill game

KCCA FC head coach Morley Byekwaso has called for confidence from his players ahead of their game against Arua Hill.

The Yellow Boys will take on Arua Hill SC at the MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo in match day 25 of the StarTimes Uganda Premier League on Monday April 11th.

KCCA FC who are second on the Uganda Premier League table with 45 points lie seven points behind leaders Vipers SC making Monday’s game a must-win for them if they are to keep their title chances alive.

We need to approach this game with big intent. If the players can exhibit the confidence they had in the previous game against UPDF FC then we can be unplayable,” Byekwaso said.

We are taking it one game at a time and what is most important is the immediate game ahead of us,” he added.

Patrick Kaddu and Usama Arafati are back in the squad after missing the previous league games due to a hamstring injury and suspension respectively.

Goal Keeper Derrick Ochan returned to trainingafter missing out the trip to UPDF due to illness, Peter Magambo returned to the match day squad against UPDF on Tuesday for the first time in 8 months.

Youngster Dominic Ayella is back in training with the team, he had been away due to school commitments.

KCCA FC were 1-0 winners against Arua Hill in the first round courtesy of Davis Kasirye’s strike in Arua.

Arua Hill enter Monday’s game sitted sixth on the log with 39 points from 24 games and are six points behind KCCA FC.
