Course preparations are underway at Victoria Racing Park in Garuga, Entebbe ahead of Easter Sunday’s East African Championships. Sections of the Racetrack have been widened to permit faster riders to overtake.
So far nine (9) out of the sixteen (16) international riders are already in the country and held practices to get acquainted with the course, with the second group expected to jet into the country on Friday 15 April 2022.
The Kenyan team will be hoping to win the championship according to their coordinator, Shana Kendie. “We are hoping to win the championship, the weather is good and we need to go for it.”
Top riders and drivers across different classifications will challenge to claim East Africa’s top title.
According to the event organizers, all necessary precautions have been met and expected a good event.
