Vipers SC head coach Roberto ‘Robertinho’ Oliveira and BUL FC forward Simon Peter Oketch have been voted the best coach, player of the month of March in the Pilsner Lager Awards respectively.
This was announced on Wednesday morning at Kati Kati Restaurant in Lugogo during the Pilsner Monthly Awards ceremony.
To emerge as the best palyer, Oketch saw off competition from Karim Ndugwa and Arua Rashid Kawawa.
He scored three goals in five games in the month of March against UPDF and Tooro United. He also made one assist against Busoga United.
Meanwhile, Vipers SC tactician Robertinho guided Vipers SC to three wins in three games played in March to beat competition from Sam Timbe and Livingston Mbabazi.
The Venoms won 2-1 against Bright Stars, 3-0 against Tooro United and 2-0 against Busoga United.
Oketch and Robetinho moved home with a plaque of one million shillings each.
