KCCA go Six points clear at the UPL Summit

KCCA FC are now six points clear at the top of the Startimes Uganda Premier League after thumping BUL FC 3-1 at home.

Goals from Innocent Wafula, Charles Lwanga and Davis Kasirye ensured the Tax Collectors would continue their impressive winning streak with 7 wins out of 8 league games this term, and are yet to lose a game.

KCCA sit top of the league with 22 points, followed by Vipers SC who have managed only 16 points, and Wakiso Giants are third with 15 points this season.

Morley Byekwaso’s men will take on second-placed Vipers SC next time out at St.Mary’s Stadium on Sunday in a do or die game.

Meanwhile at the Gaddafi Arena, Vipers SC secured a 3-1 win away to Gaddafi FC. A brace from Milton Karisa and Bright Anukani’s goal bagged the Venoms maximum points.

Elsewhere on matchday 8, Busoga United lost 1-0 to Arua Hill SC, Mbarara City we’re victorious against SC Villa at Kakyeeka Stadium in Mbarara.

Onduparaka locked horns with Express FC in a one all draw, Tooro United lost to UPDF FC in a 6 goal thriller(2-4) at home. Wakiso Giants thumped Bright Stars 4-2 as URA FC played out to a goalless draw against Uganda Police.
