I am now a changed player – ‘Zaga’ confirms on his return to Vipers SC

Frank ‘Zaga’ Tumwesigye has completed a three-year employment contract to join his boyhood club Vipers SC.

The lanky midfielder will be joining the Venoms for the third time after signing a professional contract from the conveyer belt of St. Mary’s Boarding Secondary School in 2016.

He was later loaned to Express FC where he spent a year before he later return to St. Mary’s Stadium but still he struggled to own a permanent place in the starting team.

With a thirst for playing time he decided to terminate his running contract to join coach Abdallah Mubiru’s Police FC to redefine himself but the deal did not go as scripted.

“I am now a changed person,” Zaga told Vipers SC official website during his first interview with the club.

“I have seen and learned a lot during my time away from Vipers SC and this time round I come back a changed person with a different mentality,” he emotionally added.

“I know Vipers SC is a team of pressure and competition for a place in the first eleven but I surely know I will make it,” he concluded.

Zaga will have a chance to make his return debut on Wednesday February 2, 2022, as Vipers will be hosting SC Villa at Kitende.

The Venoms lie second on the log with 30 points from 14 games played so far.
