Streamline Soccer Academy seemed to be scoring goals for fun against helpless Entebbe City Soccer Academy on the resumption of the Gateway Entebbe Junior League on Wednesday.
Robert Tugume’s Streamline hit the mark 10 times against Entebbe City with no response, securing a maximum 4 points. Streamline were very clinical and utilised their chances.
However, they failed to impress against Panthers Soccer Academy in their second game of the day. Panthers emerged the better side after employing a tactical masterclass to score 2 valuable goals against Tugume’s pupils.
Panthers now find themselves in second place on the log, followed by Taggy High Soccer Academy who managed a draw against Mutungo Soccer Academy and a win against St.Padre Pio Soccer Academy in the second match.
Meanwhile, Bulega Soccer Academy put up a stellar performance against V.T Soccer Academy, scoring 4 goals.
Waggagai Warriors are yet to find form after suffering a disappointing loss to their hosts Sports Academy Bulega. The Warriors now find themselves in 7th place.
The league returns on Sunday 21st November and league Leaders Streamline will face ninth placed Young Santos in the opener at Mutungo Playground. Young Santos will take on Mutungo Soccer Academy, and Mutungo will host Streamline in the final game of the day.
Away at Cherish Playground, Sports Academy Bulega welcome Entebbe City Soccer Academy, Entebbe will face Bulega Soccer Academy in the second of the day. Final action will be the Bulega derby as Sports Academy Bulega face off with Bulega Soccer Academy.
Elsewhere, at the Waggagai playground, PRO Soccer Academy will be hosted by Waggagai warriors in the opener, Waggagai will battle St.Padre Pio, and PRO Soccer Academy will play St. Padre in the final of the day.
Taggy High host Panthers and VT Soccer Academy in their first and second of the day at Entebbe City playground. Panthers will then take on VT Soccer Academy.
