Express FC interim coach James Odoch claims that his charges gave KCCA FC a lot of freedom that made them fail to register maximum points.
The Red Eagles and KCCA FC played out to an entertaining 2-2 draw on Thursday afternoon in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League ‘Kampala Derby’ game played at the Betway Muteesa II stadium Wankulukuku.
Martin Kizza and Joseph Akandwanaho scored for Express FC while Julius Poloto and Sadat Anaku scored for KCCA FC.
“We came from behind to earn a point, we had lost it in the first half because we allowed KCCA FC to use the ball more,” Odoch said before adding.
“But the changes I made bringing on Etrude and Ssebagala gave us more pace.”
“We shall now go back and prepare for our next game, away to gaddafi fc. We want to win that game so that we get our winning touch back,” he added.
Odoch is still looking for his maiden victory since he replaced Wasswa Bbosa who was sacked by the club.
The draw left Express FC sixth on 30 points after 19 games and their next fixture will be an away game to Gaddafi FC on Tuesday.
