Teenager Ibrahim Juma scored the only goal of the game as KCCA FC registered a 1-0 win against Soltilo Bright Stars in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League game played at MTN Omondi Stadium in Lugogo.
In the 11th minute, Davis Kasirye teed up Sadat Anaku who made a run and curled the ball onto the upright and wide.
Juma scored a goal on his first senior start in a home game with a diving header to give KCCA FC an advantage in the 16th minute.
In the 25th minute, Anaku found space and stung the palms of the goal keeper. The visitors cleared their lines and ball found Jurua who shot from distance and keeper saves again.
Jurua crossed beautifully in the box in the 53rd minute, Ayella Dominic headed on goal but Bright Stars’ Were had a hand on the ball and it rolled out for a corner kick.
In the 58th minute, lanky defender Magambo cleaned up smartly and timely to deny Ssenkatuka who had capitalized on Revita’s error.
The win left KCCA FC second on the log with 53 points while Bright Stars is 10th with 30 points.

KCCA FC will host Busoga United on Friday while Bright Stars will be visiting URA at the Arena of Visions, Ndejje.
