KCCA FC head coach Morley Byekwaso has urged his players to be confident ahead of their game against Onduparaka FC.
The Kasasiro Boys will take on 12th placed Onduparaka FC on the league table in match day 18 of the StarTimes Uganda Premier League.
Both sides shared spoils in the first round of the 2021/22 season. This was a replayed game after the first game in Arua was aborted after the home fans invaded the inner area of the pitch.
“We need to work so hard tomorrow if we are to get maximum points against them. The past two games we have played against them were tough and this will not be any different,” Byekwaso said before adding.
“We know we are at home, we need to exhibit that confidence and play. We have been working on our finishing lately and we hope the lads can show that on the field of play.”
We have been creating many chances but not turning them into goals. We need to start scoring and this will instill confidence in the players and then they will play.”
“We will miss Dennis Iguma who picked a hamstring injury against Onduparaka early this month but the positive is he has started training and he will soon be back playing,” he added.
The Caterpillars have scored 17 goals and conceded 21. They have 17 points from 17 games. KCCA FC on the other hand have won 10 , shared spoils 6 times and with one loss this term.
The 13 times Uganda Premier League Champions have scored 25 goals and conceded the least number of goals this term with 11.
