Kakomo Bids Farewell To SC Villa

Hard Tackling midfielder, Amir Kakomo has said bye-bye to SC Villa.

Kakomo leaves the 16-times-record Uganda Premier Champions after running down a three-year-employment contract.

“I wish SC Villa many successes for the present and future, hopefully until again, Jogoo forever,” Kakomo penned down in a farewell document.

“Farewell is not the end of life, but the fast step to how strongly we survive without someone or something. So today I sadly come to say goodbye to an amazing club that I will carry in my heart always,” he added.

“Immense gratitude to the administration, technical staff, my brothers and for the fun nothing I can return for the love and support you always showed me. I am forever a Jogoo,” he concluded.

The 25-year-old midfielder has played at different times since he started his footballing career with Namasuba-based Juventus FC.

He later joined Kiboga Young FC where he spent a year before making a mega deal to join KCCA FC. He left KCCA FC to join SC Villa.

He has also played for the Masaza Sides such as Ssingo, Buwekula and Gomba.

It’s rumoured that he will be joining Gaddafi Modern FC which is having a reshuffle under head coach Wasswa Bbosa.
