Uganda Christian University (UCU) Lady Cardinals captain Hasifah Nassuna seems to be on a sweat and exciting song of scoring which she seems not to end any soon.
The lethal forward will remember Wednesday May 11, 2022 as one of the most remarkable days of her life after scoring the 100th goal of her professional career.
“I can not say I am satisfied, I am hungry and I want to score more and more,” Nassuna excitedly told the press after reaching the golden mark.
This historical goal however was not enough to give UCU all the maximum point after Kampala Queens beating them 2-1 at IUIU, Kabojja grounds.
But the defeat could not stop Nassuna from celebrating since it’s an archievemate that had been eagerly waited for by herself, teammates, fans and all football fanatics.
“I am the happiest person today that finally this record has been achieved. I think everyone has been waiting for this. Well it came with alot of pressure.
“I am glad it is out of the way now and hoping to even achieve more in future,” a self motivated Nassuna continued.
“I want to thank Allah for the gift of life and the talent He gave me. When I look back definitely its been a long journey that has come with challenges.
“But I am glad to be the first person to reach such a big milestone,” she concluded.
