Vipers SC has today confirmed the acquisition of defender Hillary Mukundane on a three-year deal.
Mukundane joins the Venoms from Mbarara City FC a team that he had served for five years as a strong defensive pin and captain.
The defender becomes the second signing in the ongoing transfer after the return of agile midfielder Frank Zaga Tumwesigye.
“I feel happy joining Vipers and it’s a dream come true because am at the biggest club in the country right now,” Mukundane revealed in his first interview with Vipers Media.
“The ambitions of the club are clear and I want to be part of this journey. I hope that many successes come from this move.”
The 21-year-old defender noted that he can not wait to put on the red and blue colours for the Uganda Cup reigning champions.
Vipers SC will be back in action on Wednesday February 2, 2022 as they taken on SC Villa in the Star Times Uganda Premier League.
