A body of an adult male was found Sunday morning trapped in a swamp on the Lake Victoria shoreline in Nalugala village, Katabi Town Council in Wakiso District.
The victim identified as Jude Sserwadda, a motorcycle taxi cyclist and a resident of Bukandekande village is presumed to have drowned in the lake on 14th May 2022 Saturday evening.
His motorcycle registration number UED 992Y Bajaj boxer, a mobile telephone and clothes were all found intact ruling out a possible murder.
According to the area police, investigations are underway to establish the cause of death.
