Kubis Aviation College held their second Graduation Ceremony at the College’s Main Campus in Entebbe Municipality on Saturday, 1st April 2023.
The blended graduation ceremony started with a eucharistic celebration which was led by Rev. Herman Mukasa Zziwa.
A total of 40 graduated in Airport operations, Ticketing, Foundation in travel and tourism, Passenger ground service, Flight operations and Cabin crew.
Kenneth Otim the Principal Public Affairs Officer of Uganda Civil Aviation Authority (UCAA) who was the Guest of Honour, urged the graduands to uphold ethics, integrity and always to be in position of learning more if they are to succeed in life.
He also said that UCAA has gaps in some departments forexample in air navigation, safety, security and economic regulations plus the upcoming opportunity when Kabale international airport is officially open which they should be engaged in as well as other sectors like tourism.
Ronald Kalema the Katabi Towncouncil Chairperson reminded graduands to always put on the corporate attire of transparency, integrity, responsibility and a desire for excellence in their day to day activities.
He also emphasized that the best qualification is good character as an individual, “what you have attained are just a supplement to your character in away of facing future”, he concluded.
The Entebbe municipal Deputy Mayor Charles Kabwama appreciated the administration and management of the college for providing a holistic education to the students and also supporting the community through paying taxes that enhance smooth operations of the municipal council.
Kubis Aviation College (KAC) is a full service training institution for aviation management, business management, aviation safety and security studies located at Plot 27, Mirza Road, Katabi Town Council, Entebbe.
