The Entebbe High Court currently occupies the Entebbe Magistrate Court, which is in Entebbe municipality and Busiro South which covers Katabi, Kajjansi, and Kasanje town councils as well as Bussi sub-county.

Justice Nabakooza noted that it is going to be an in-house session starting with 46 cases, out of which 19 are aggravated defilement, and 19 are murder and robbery cases.

She also assured the public of handling all cases on time to avoid delays since they are well equipped.

“The high court has already added to the electronic court case management system. So the filing is going to be done online. Whatever was filed already that was not online is also going to be scanned and put online. The court has been given the IT person,” she said.

Due to limited space, Justice Nabakooza noted that the high court will be having court sessions two days a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

The Mayor of Entebbe municipality, Fabrice Rulinda assured the court of finding the solution for land through the next council meeting that will be done next week.

Ronald Kalema, the Katabi town council chairperson, appreciated the entire Judiciary for bringing the High Court to Entebbe, saying, “It has been hard for us to always go to Kampala for our high court cases. Therefore we want to thank you, and we pledge that we shall work with you.”
