Officers from the National Oil Seeds Project (NOSP) embarked on the task of mobilising and preparing communities for the upcoming planting season.
The team is meeting growers across the region to share guidance on improved seed varieties, good agronomic practices, and how farmers can make the most of the next season’s opportunities.
Farmers are being encouraged to;
- Get ready with quality seeds
- Prepare their gardens early
- Follow recommended planting guidelines
- Engage with extension workers for support
This mobilisation drive is part of a broader effort to boost oil seed production, strengthen household incomes, and ensure farmers are fully equipped for a productive season ahead.
